authentication failure for username ubuntu when installing ubuntu from customised liv

Hi,
i am trying a make a custom live cd with some custom packages, after doing so my dvd can boot as a live cd but when asked to install ubuntu it fails with an error "authentication failure user ubuntu" and after some time it books to live cd.

In the above process to install my own packages i have created a user account and i can login with it into live cd and i am also able to use my installed packages.

Can anyone help me what could be wrong and also how i can install ubuntu from command line to debug it. Also please tell me where i can find the command line installer script.

I'm facing exact same problem. Did you find a solution.
My live cd stops at GDM and asks for credentials.

CNTRL+ALT+F1 - F6 terminals all give authentication failure error,leaving unable to execute any commands.
