Inspiron 1525 Unable to Suspend or Hibernate Ubuntu 10.04

Hi, I'm new with ubuntu and I running the amd64 bit edition. I have an inspiron 1525 laptop and everything works fine with expect for suspend and hibernate which work some of time but not all of time and usually cause this laptop to crash.

my specs are

Laptop: Inspiron 1525
Manufacturer: Dell
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo
Graphics: Intel GMA965
8 GB swap partition
Ubuntu Version: 10.04 Beta 1

did this problem solve it self? i have the same problem with an acer travelmate 2480. all open drivers. suspend worked perfectly for years on ubuntu 8.10.

after last round of updates, it now seems to work for me as well. yay! hopes it stays this way.
